Registration Instructions
Registration is required before data can be downloaded via the portal.
Registration also provides access to the FTP download site.
The steps for registration are:
- Go to the Registration
page, fill out all the form fields, and submit.You should see the message:
"A confirmation message will be sent to the E-mail address submitted
on the form." Ignore the login form - you will be able to login
after the request is approved (Step 3.)
- The portal will send an e-mail requesting that you confirm the registration.
To do so, click on the link in the body of the message. You should see
the message: "Your account request will be processed." (Once
again, please ignore the login form.)
- Your request will be forwarded to the portal administrators for approval.
Please allow up to one week for approval. You will be notified by e-mail
when the request for access to the data portal is approved. Note that
a separate e-mail confirmation will be sent when access via the FTP
site is available. Use the same username and password for both modes
of access.
- To login, select the Login link on the portal home page, and enter
your name and password. If successful, the login status will change
to "Logged in."
